I think the scrolling and appearance of text is pretty good, now.
End of “movie”
At the end of the “movie” the text “KEEP THE VECTREX ALIVE” scrolls in. Currently, this text disappears as soon as it reached the center of the “screen”.
Suggestion:
Option A.) The text “KEEP THE VECTREX ALIVE!” could be displayed a bit longer and then disappear. Fading out might look good.
Option B.) Scroll the text out of the screen and then finish the movie.
Option C.) Leave it as it is. 😉Greetings: Four times “Chris”
I do know that there are many Chrisses around in the Vectrex scene. In the greetings “Chris” is mentioned for times. This looks a bit like a bug.
Suggestion: Add the first letter of the surname to differentiate the four Chrisses. E.g. Chris P., Chris M., …BTW: In the Greetings sections many first names are used except VECTREXROLI and VECTREXMAD! Is this on purpose? Can people choose?
1) I’ll add acouple of empty lines I think.
2) In principle people can chose. But only if I know what they want :-). I had some feedback for the older games – so these are the ones I “know” of guess.
I’ll add credits to my beta testers as well… so you can still chose!
There’s a minor issue/bug in the main menu:
Selection doesn’t change when controlling diagonally
When you move your controller to a different direction without centering first, the menu might not change. To reproduce simply do a “circle tour” with your joystick, i.e. move it to the top and then try out all directions without moving back to center position.Joystick.

I can take it out – doesn’t really matter – probably.
But horizontal axis will still take precedence over vertical axis.

Decide your self. It’s a minor issue and most users won’t notice or experience this problem.

Mapping diagonal joystick directions to left/right is fine.
