    Hi,
    for future reference.
I was shocked when sending out the “beta” PCBs what the prices are for sending packages nowadays.

    All sizes: up to 2 kg size: 35 x 25 x 3 cm

I live in Germany and sending parcels out costs (DHL):
    Destination Germany: 4,99€
    Destination EU: 9,00€
    Destination World: 16,00€

The first PCBs were sent using above price range. But thinking that at some stage I would like to distribute more stuff led me to investigate further.

Quintessitially – the lowest price I found:
    (not insured, no tracking)
    (insurerance + tracking: +4€)

DHL (online – not at a local post office):
    Destination Germany: 3,79€ (10: 3,69, 50: 3,49, 100: 3,39)
    Destination Europe: 4,89€ ()
    Destination World: 8,89€ ()

Interesting – the low prices are “Warensendung” or “Paket”?

    Päckchen!

The stupid thing (EU prices) are for sizes “35 x 25 x 3 cm”, and the XS parcels DHL sells are “35 x 25 x 3,5 cm” – so they are 0,5 cm to large and thus cost 8,89€.

    !!!!

Depressing, isn’t? Postal fees went insane even in Greece….
