I agree with Helmut about the “Game Over” sequence: it is really nice but i imagine it of with another kind of games with ghosts, spirits ….
i would suggest 2 things:
– “An alert” for the last ship.
– Game Over sequence: A trembling and a dislocation of the ship followed by a big explosion
Wow! It is incredible… All you are doing to improve and polish the game!
it is already Vectorblade II 😉

When you say “This special case was introduced with some kind of optimization not too long ago”: do you have an idea of the beta version ? Because i already got crashes with the b40 version several months ago. If the optimization was introduced after this version, we have to investigate more…
But 1 problem at a time (if there is no link between them of course)! 😉
We have to be careful, but i am confident. You found “something” and you can reproduce it now. This is the most important. Fingers crossed for me too!

I did not play enough, but no crash with the VF B51 version. I only played a little more than 100 levels. But tonight i will take the time to play more and i will let you know my results

@Chris: Thanks for your last kind message. Just a precision (My “tester” and “gamer” point of view): playing Vectorblade a lot now, i have a real “experience” on it; so i can say that the pleasure to play increased with time, because there is always a new challenge, a new bonus to unlock. And, to progress, there is always a new strategic approach to try.
So, I do not have the feeling to overplay the game, I am just delighted to be one on the first play this great game ! 👍🏻

Thanks for the message! Yes, it is big busy week for me, that’s why i did not test Vectorblade yesterday. But tonight i will try to test it again (at least 3 or 400 more levels with several configurations)! 😉
Just a little detail about my last test: when you leave the “settings” menu pushing the button 2 (instead of the 4) there are (temporary) sound glitches.
@Chris: The last version is very nice! The transformation of the ship with the improvement of the firepower is a good idea ( a nod to “Terra Cresta” ?) !!
Playing the game: i noted a random “silence” of my Atarivox+ ( around levels 31/32). I unplugged it and pugged it: it worked again for a time, and then, the same symptoms occured.
to check my material, i played Yasi and the B40 : no prob.

I tested the new b49: i got 1 crash and 2 Atarivox+ “Switch off” (for this second point: I have to check if it is related to the game).
The crash: Level 53 -> heavy fire (blaster) against the “Super Alien”; symptoms as always (black screen and continuous sound); i made a little movie
Another little bug: when you modify the size of the screen (calibration), you loose your settings after the Minestorm sequence.
