    vtk: 1 – new shop sound effect when moving between items:
    in my opinion the sound is a bit too aggressive and ‘out of place’ sounding, it would be better in my opinion if you have a simple short ‘beep’ sound, dont make it a low pitch sound, eg. a suitable sound would be like a ‘blip’ ‘blip’ ‘blip’ as you move between the items in the shop

    Good. Currently, the sound sounds like a drum or tambourine and doesn’t fit very well. It supposed to be a really descreet and non-enerving sound.

    vtk: 10 – super diamond .. i know this is quite rare to see… however, i got this ‘bonus stage’ when i played tonight, and to me it feels a little ‘unfinished’, as in, there is not really any sounds here if i remember correctly? and also, you dont really do anything, just a big diamond comes to you.  maybe you could reduce the big diamond size?
    suggestion: …. have the short ‘diamond minestorm’ section like you have now but which has some slower moving regular sized diamonds, but then after a pause, the (reduced in size as its way too big now) super diamond flies down the screen but REALLY fast, so it is not easy to grab it. sometimes you might get it, and sometimes not. like in the picture below, u could set it so the little diamonds dont all move too fast so u can grab some, but the larger super diamond which only comes once, moves VERY FAST so its not easy to get it!

    Malban:  That is not realy a “level” more an “intermission” scene. You can’t really do anything – except get 100000 points and some  cash. Its a “reward” thing. Will not change except perhaps some sound.

    Ouch, I also thought that in Super diamond level you could do something. But it doesn’t matter and some riddles left in Vectorblade are o.k..

    regarding the new ordering of the achievements, i thought that is very good and no complaints from me about that 🙂

    Ah, you’ve read my post before I removed the comment about the pitch. Actually, the pitch is good and the voice sounds good to me. Like a female robot. 🙂

    Just played beta33. The list of achievement looks good to me. The divider is positioned correctly but I still think that it should be removed: Why a divider for contents that belong together?

    There’s still a minor bug:

    Trophee and text overlap
    Currently, in the achievement list the trophee graphic overlaps with the text of the achievement. This happens for example with achievment “GREEDY”.

    If you only “just” are aware that some seldom shots are missing – I guess it is not too bad.

    It happens only in rare cases so it’s really not too bad.

    EDIT: To me it seems as if it happens much more than before. But I might be wrong.

    In Beta 31 and 32 I’ve seen shots flying through enemies in some rare cases. Have you changed collission detection, Christopher? There was even an enemy flying horizontally slightly underneath my player ship and to my surprise I wasn’t killed. But perhaps is it just me who plays more and more in a relaxed way and now can even watch the shoots flying around.

    Beta 32: Some extra info for other testers regarding the “Game Over” bug: After “Game over” you have to reset the Vectrex. Achievements aren’t saved so you start from scratch each time.

    Just had a look at the list of achievements in beta32. From my point of view the ordering “Most valuable achievements” at top is good. I’m not 100% happy with the position of “Officer” but as I said the overall ordering is good.

    Also, you (Christopher) have reduced the vertical size of the page contents. All in all the scrolling looks better to me.

    There’s a minor bug left:
    The short horizontal line jumps a bit when scrolling. My suggestion is to get rid of the horizontal line.

    What do other testers think about the new ordering of the achievements?

    Beta31: Without “Money” the voice output is much better and less irritating, now. 🙂

    Actually it doesn’t really matter to me – if you think they both should be the same I’ll change it (please again a small hint 🙂 ).

    For me it’s a kind of paper with writing on it that you scroll. So I think that a single arrow would be the right choice in both cases. But I’ll have a second look and will post, again.

    Actually that also was on purpose – but if you think it is better to do “strict” scrolling I can change that easily.

    Thank you for changing the scrolling in beta31. I think without repeating a line it looks good – except the “Shots fired” and the “Shots hit”. On the second page it says just “hit” (“Shots” is missing).

    The added sound sounds like a cricket to me while the boss looks like a wasp. But that’s o.k. and I think the sound is quite cool. Well done, vtk and Malban!

    Beta 31. After my 1.9 Mio. game I had a look at all the achievements I received in this single game. When scrolling through the achievements I noticed what is irritating.

    Page contents starts beyond up/down arrows
    Currently, when a new page appears the new page’s contents are not within the two up/down arrows.
    Suggestion: Page content should be made a bit smaller (remove some empty space underneath the name of the achievement, for example). When the top/bottom of the incoming page contents should always remain within the arrows.

    <Note: I’ll add a picture showing what I mean tomorrow.>

    Thank you, Christopher, for this new beta version of Vectorblade.

    I just played one game with beta31. Has beta31 some special settings that make playing easier? This single game took almost an hour and score was 1,9 Million – I never had such a high score before. For some reason I don’t know I had a Diamond storm and a Superdiamond storm (?). – Diamond storms never happened to me before. The boss in level 95(?) gave me a hard time and I was set back to previous levels over and over again. Would be good if you were set back even more to a level with a shop to invest your money into equipment and refurbish the player ship. I’m still a bit numb due to the long playing and the late time.

    What I noticed:
    After level 75 game difficulty still ramps up a bit but levels >75 were comparatively easy unless you die several times and have a single shot, only.
